Let me start by saying that I fundamentally believe that each and every individual has unlimited potential. I am dedicated to inspiring, encouraging and empowering individuals navigate their careers and to discover their TRUE NORTH. This is where my passion in Human Resource, and in particular talent development is anchored on.

As a Human Resource Professional, I have helped and will continue to partner with CEOs, Leadership Teams and Board Members to support organisations and teams in achieving their vision through various Talent Management practices, in particular, Performance Management, Succession Management, Learning & Development, Talent Assessment and Rewards Strategy. In short, I am game to help you and your organisation future-proof your talents.
As an Executive & Leadership Coach, I am your biggest supporter. I will partner with you to help you maximise your personal and professional potential. I will inspire and encourage you to develop yourself, work through pivotal changes, navigate your career and live a more focused life. My most recent endeavour is leading the Transformation, Strategic Human Capital & Corporate Services for a leading automotive Public Listed Company, where I am responsible for almost 2,000 souls within the Group. I was invited to lead the Group Transformation Programme to cover several areas including Human Capital, Governance, Operational Excellence, Digitalisation and Business Growth. The Group has achieved resounding results with an increase of 30% operating profit in the year 2020, as a result of numerous initiatives of the transformation programme.

I am also overseeing the Group Strategic Human Capital and Corporate Services function where I am responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Company, which encompasses Human Resources, Procurement, Information Technology and Administration functions.
Previously, I was Director/Head Human Capital Transformation of MARA Corporation. I was part of the business transformation team for the Group of 8 Companies, in particular, looking at business and human capital transformation. I was primarily responsible for the Strategic Human Capital and Transformation function of the Group.
Prior to that, I led the start-up of a new subsidiary, UNITAR International Academy, which concentrates on professional certification programmes, TVET-based certification, as well as customised training and development programmes. In addition, I held a dual role, one of which was the Director in the Office of the Vice Chancellor where I was leading strategic initiatives to position UNITAR at the international level, with both academic and industry partner organisations. I was also leading the academic operations and regulatory function within UNITAR, where I was responsible for ensuring programme excellence and delivery across UNITAR’s 22 locations nationwide.
The highlight of my career was with Khazanah Nasional Berhad, where I was instrumental in setting up and leading the implementation of its Signature Scholarship Programme, including a Scholarship Programme with Nobel Laureate Organisation, Grameen Bank. Apart from managing the scholarship and implementing breakthrough leadership development programmes, I was also involved in other initiatives in the Education spectrum, including being a member of the Education New Key Economic Area (NKEA) Lab of the Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). During my tenure in Khazanah, I also led the Graduate Employability Management Scheme (GEMS) where GEMS was successful in improving employability of more than 8,000 graduates nationwide.
I was also with Mercer HR Consulting, an internationally renowned human resource consulting firm, as well as the National Cancer Council, a Civil Society Organisation. During my term in Mercer, I was involved in numerous projects in various sectors, namely Automotive, High Technology, Power and Chemical covering Position Evaluations, Salary Surveys, Compensation & Benefits Strategy, Performance Management, HR Diagnostics and Employee Engagement initiatives.
With 20 years’ experience in the Human Capital sphere in MNCs, GLCs, PLCs and CSOs, I have gained competencies in areas of Organisational Development, Leadership & Succession Management, Performance Management, Talent Management, Talent Assessment and Human Capital Transformation. I am familiar with the Extended DISC Emotional Quality Profile and Motive Questionnaire, as well as a certified user of the SHL Personality Questionnaire and Ability Tests.
As part of my civil society involvement, I was a Trustee for the Kalsom Movement between 2015 and 2016. Currently, I coach and mentor the Executive Committee Members.

I am a father of two who enjoys going on road trips with my family. I am an avid aviator and yes…
I do fly planes! Hence why I am the “Flying Coach”…
